1992

HELP not-for-profit organization was founded with Journalist friends and Social Workers aiming to empower rural and disadvantage women & children.

1993

HELP registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.

1995

Initiating project of Prevention of HIV/AIDS with sex workers in Prakasam, Guntur and East Godawari Districts of Andhra Pradesh covering 1000 sex-workers.

1998

Study on Status of Children of Sex workers in the state of Andhra Pradesh with the support of CRY.

1999

Initiating Spl residential children Home for children of sex workers for their protection and Education nearly 475 children joined mainstream education through residential home within 10 years.

2000

Study on status of women and children in prostitution with the support of Action Aid.

2001

HELP network NATSAP (Network against Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation in Andhra Pradesh) started with 45 NGO in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

2002

HELP is appointed by Govt. of Andhra Pradesh as a Member in State Level Coordination Committee on “Trafficking of women and children for Commercial Sexual Exploitation and also Implementation of measures of rescue and rehabilitation of the trafficked victims”

2004

Action Research study on Advocacy and lobbying on trafficking in AP.

2007

HELP is appointed as a Nodal NGO Coastal Region Anti Human Trafficking Unit - AHTU by Department of CID & State Level Anti Trafficking Unit, Govt of AP.

2008

HELP is recognized as a Training Partner of Andhra Pradesh Police Academy – APPA in the Districts and Commissionerates located in Andhra area.

2009

HELP is appointed as a support NGO by CID of Police, Govt of AP for South Coastal Districts for Speedy Justice Delivery of Anti-Human Trafficking Cases Registered in Guntur, Kirshna & Prakasam Districts and Victim/witness support.

2009

HELP is appointed as a Member in Executive body & General body of “AP Society for Protection and Empowerment of women & Children” which established by Govt of Andhra Pradesh for implementation of ICPS scheme in the State.

2010

HELP is appointed by Govt of AP as a member in State level Centre for Adolescents “YUVA”.

2012

HELP is appointed as a member for Advisory Committee for Centre for Women’s Studies, Acharya Nagarjuna University.

2015

HELP is nominated by the Govt of AP to coordinate with AHTUs (Anti-Human Trafficking Units) on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Government for better coordination and quick response to anti - Trafficking of Women and Children and to serve as an institutional mechanism for combatting the crime.

2016

Prevention of Child Marriages and Child Trafficking in Andhra Pradesh through promotion of Secondary Education for Girls and JOVT for Young Women with TDH – Netherlands covering 10 mandals of Andhra Pradesh.

2016

HELP has honoured with “National Award for Child Protection” under Institutional category by Hon’ble President of India on the occasion of Children’s day during Nov 2016 at Rashtrapathi Bhavan, New Delhi.

2020

Survivors COVID Relief Mission: 1700 survivors of human trafficking and victims of Commercial Sexual Exploitation during the pandemic and addressed their Domestic Violence and Mental Health Challenges along with distribution of rice & Essential commodities for these victim.

2021

Post – COVID empowered 375 sex workers formed in to 30 SHGs and started savings.
