Project Duration: 3 years, commencing August 2025
The project aims to support approximately 155 survivors of gender-based violence (GBV), including sex workers and survivors of trafficking, by ensuring access to need-based, comprehensive support services, including:
a) Comprehensive Survivor Support: Legal assistance, psychosocial counselling, victim compensation, crisis intervention, and access to government entitlements and social protection schemes.
b) Adolescent Empowerment and Prevention: Collectivizing approximately 150 adolescents who are children of sex workers to strengthen their protection, education, mental well-being, life skills and future opportunities, while preventing second-generation trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation.
c) Support for Older Sex Workers: Identifying approximately 50 older sex workers and supporting them to live with dignity, free from violence, discrimination and stigma, while facilitating their access to government welfare schemes, social security benefits and public health services.
